Projects

Here are a few of our recent projects in more detail.

  • River Road Bridge

    A bridge re-furbish including new mass block wingwalls, central pier concrete barrier, structural steel compression frame and new asphalt road surface. The bridge was 1km downstream of a major pumping station which required a lot of coordination with SA Water.

  • Beaumont Rd Bridge

    A car collided with the bridge, tearing out the barrier post. Working above the ARTC rail track, we repaired the post using epoxy products, custom steel plate and high tensile rod.

  • Crafers Kerb & Drainage

    The properties in this area were subject to flooding from road run-off. We installed kerb & gutter and side entry pits to channel water into the adjacent creek.

Mumford Engineering is a family business based in the Adelaide Hills. Ben Mumford is a civil engineer who started the company in 1999, specialising in project management of large civil infrustructure and utilities projects. Ben has also worked extensively in commercial construction. In recent years, Mumford Engineering has grown as a stand alone contractor, providing specialist civil construction services for local councils, other contractors, utilities companies and private customers.
